31. But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,

32. I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
Ex 3.6-16
Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God. ;Marc 12.26
And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? ;Luc 20.37

36. Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37. Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38. This is the first and great commandment.

39. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Lev 19.18
Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: I am the LORD. ;Mat 19.19
Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. ;Marc 12.31
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. ;Luc 10.27

If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: ;

40. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Mat 7.12
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. ;1Tim 1.5
Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: ;
