1Pet 1.3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, ;
4. Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
5. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

2Cor 4.10Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. ;
Col 1.24Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church: ;
6. And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
2Cor 4.15For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. ;
7. And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.

2Tim 2.12If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: ;
8. For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:
Fap 19.23And the same time there arose no small stir about that way. ;
1Cor 15.32If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die. ;
1Cor 16.9For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries. ;
9. But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:
Ier 17.5-7Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. ;
10. Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
2Pet 2.9The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: ;
