1. Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
Apoc 1.16-20And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. ;
Apoc 1.13And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. ;
2. I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
Ps 1.6For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. ;
Apoc 2.9-19I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. ;
Apoc 3.1-15And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. ;
1Ioan 4.1Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. ;
2Pet 2.1But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. ;
3. And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
Gal 6.9And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. ;
Evr 12.3-5For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. ;
4. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
5. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
Mat 21.41-43They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons. ;
6. But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.
Apoc 2.15So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate. ;
7. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

10. Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Mat 10.22And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. ;
Mat 24.13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. ;
Iac 1.12Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. ;
Apoc 3.11Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. ;
